<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="color: black;">- Chewing all your food thoroughly, not just starch,<span> </span>makes it easier to properly digest in your system. In addition, when you eat slowly, you tend to naturally feel full sooner and therefore will eat less.</span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="color: black;">- You need carbs for energy but watch out how many and what types you consume. All food requires the burning of calories to digest, but proteins require much more than carbs. More protein in your diet means more calories are burned to digest it. </span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="color: black;">- Eat smaller portions more often. Eating five to six small meals per day are better than the traditional three. This keeps your digestive track working, which in turn burns calories. The exact same total food intake, spread over six meals, will have less impact on your weight than if it were contained in three meals.</span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="color: black;">- Whenever possible, get your carbs from fresh fruits and vegetables, not raw sugar or starchy sources. Raw sugar, starches and salt all have an impact on your digestion.</span></p>
